Grab N' Go Breakfast Ideas

((This blog contains affiliate links to another website))

Sometimes I catch myself falling into a rut when it comes to breakfast....er...ALL meals. Before I know it - we are eating eggs every day for breakfast, sandwiches for lunch, and by the time supper rolls around - nothing is planned - and we tend to eat out or throw a pizza in the oven. I've been trying to be more intentional about using the food and produce that I have on hand at home - before we blow our budget and waist line and go out to eat!

Here are some of my favorite breakfast ideas that may take a small prep- but all end up being simple grab-and-go meals that the whole family (yes, toddlers and husbands too) will enjoy!

Breakfast Ideas

Fruit - so simple. so delicious. Berries, bananas, melons, oranges.....be creative!

Fruit and Yogurt Parfait - we love dairy free yogurt! I usually add 1/2 cup yogurt into a bowl, toss blueberries and strawberries in, and add coconut flakes, honey or maple syrup, hemp seeds, and whatever else I am feeling at that moment!

Gluten Free/Dairy Free

(In a pinch)
We probably have these once a month if we have somewhere to be in the morning, someone slept in, etc. - and there isn't time to eat/make a proper breakfast. Great to have on hand!

Larabars- these are our favorite kind
RX Bars- chocolate coffee flavor...I mean....COME ON! Yum!

Toast with almond butter
Protein shake/smoothie (Garden of Life is my favorite brand)

Eggs - oh the possibilities! Scrambled, fried, hard-boiled in the Instant Pot..

Egg Bake - we generally don't follow a recipe. I just chop up whatever veggies I want and mix them with eggs and coconut or almond milk...add cheese if you wish! You can make portion sized servings by placing them in greased muffin tins, or bake in a pan or cast iron. Either way - these store so well in the fridge or freezer!

Potato/Sweet Potato Hash - Chop potatoes. Add veggies. Throw in a pan and cook!
Pancakes! I really like this one. I mix it all together and throw it in my cast iron pan in the oven at 400 degrees for 20 mins or so. Easy peasy. Stores well in the fridge or freezer!

Muffins. This one has been our favorite lately. Again, these can easily be stored in the freezer! Turn the oven on in the morning, take them out and place on a pan while you get ready and wait for them to warm up!

Hoping this gives you a few ideas to put some excitement back in your breakfast!
